Following Thompson

Last Year I got it into my head to pack up my oil paints and head off to Algonquin Park to Plein Air Paint. I invited a pile of friends and set the date to July 16th 2014. A year has past and the trip date is almost upon me. Despite the best of intentions, I am not ready.

So here we go. Thanks to my superior procrastination abilities, a mad last minute rush to get myself prepared.

The original plan was to visit the sites shown on the above map. Notice the distance. My original plan proved impractical so we are going to play it by ear and stick around Canoe lake, doing day hikes.

First things first, I need to gather my equipment. I’ve got 27 Days before I leave.
